These new age pigments will charge under light, then discharge in darkness 365 days of the year, for more than 10 years. They will charge under a light bulb, headlight, fluorescent light and under sunlight. The stronger the light source the quicker the charging process, normally about 15 minutes.

Glow in the dark pigment colour range - Illumination colours are, Green, Aqua, Blue, Purple, Red-Pink, Orange-Red. We recommend glow pigment colours should not be mixed. If you mix the glow colours you will make a white glow pigment, that illuminates very weakly.

Blue is next, and illuminates well. Purple, Red, Orange, and Yellow, do not have strong illumination properties, compared to the other three types; (Green, Aqua, Blue).

There are two main types of glow in the dark pigments - "W" series are water resistant and can be used with water based mediums for example, Acrylic paints. The second type of pigment is the standard series. These pigments are not suitable for use with water based mediums.
