Photoluminescent rocks, also known as glow in the dark rocks, gravel or pebbles, are manufactured from plastic resins. Now added with extra glow pigment, these rocks, glow brighter, longer and in brighter colours.
This photoluminescent rock can be used as glowing aquarium gravel or glowing candle embeds. Comprised of hardened resin, they utilize our same non-toxic composition as glow in the dark pigments. Completely safe for both fresh and marine aquariums. As candle embeds, the pieces are very lightweight and easily suspending a medium density gel wax. The product has a useable recharge life of 20 years, and can be used both indoors and out.
These photoluminescent rocks can also be embedded in sand, cement and other materials to be used as pathway or as emergency guides. Available mixed in five glow colors, Yellow, Red, Blue, Aqua and Purple. It is also possible to use this product for art and craft creations.
These photoluminescent rocks are much larger than pellets with an average size about 3-5 mm. They are also shaped irregularly and some pieces might have sharp edges.
Just rinse prior to using to remove any dust and prevent clouding. Any visible lights or ordinary light can be used to charge the glow rock particles during the day and give a brilliant glowing effect at night.
