Build A Drone Quadcopter
Build And Flying Your Drone Has Many Advantages
Building your own Drone Quadcopter allows you to customize the type of Drone you want to make.
You may want a small but fast Drone for racing or a Drone that will record good quality Photographs and video.
Other features you may want are GPS tracking, First Person View (FPV) or a Drone that cn be flown at night time.
There is a ton of information on the internet showing the differant features that can be used in a Drone Quadcopter and also how to build your own unit.
Youtube and forums are great places to find the information you need.
I am currently building a Drone that is normally used for racing, but as it will have a onboard camera with FPV I will use it for exploring in places of interest and beauty.
First Person View (FPV)
FPV allows the drone Pilot to view what the done is seeing (via onboard camera) via googles or a screen on the Transmitter unit.
Using Googles makes you feel like you are inside the Drone.
Using a viewing screen on the transmitter allows you to see what the front of the Drone Quadcopter sees.
This is great for when you want to see what the Drone is filming or taking a Photo of.
GPS For the ultimate Drone Quadcopter
GPS on a Drone Quadcopter can be used for multiple uses.
With onboard GPS you can plot a route for the Drone to follow.
You can tell the Drone where to return to when required.
You can have the Drone follow you or circle around you or an object (for example your home) while filming it.
GPS isn't cheap or for the inexperienced Drone Pilot but is the ultimate feature when combined with FPV.
If you Are New To Flying And Want To Build A Drone Quadcopter

It is best to buy a cheap light weight Drone to practice with before building your Drone.
I suggest the Syma X5C-1 as it is cheap and light weight so less chance of breaking parts.
You can buy these with a onboard camers, and if you like First Person View you can order these as a accessory.
Do a search on Youtube to learn more about First Person View and its advantages.
My first Drone Quadcopter was a Syma X5C-1.
Parts for the Syma X5C-1 are easily obtained if you do break ant parts for example a Propeller.
