Preparation

Before starting your painting protect, your work surface with old newspapers and protect your clothes by wearing an apron or old shirt. Use a jar filled with clean water to wash your brush out in between change of colors and use kitchen paper or suitable cloth to dry your brush. You will also need a small plate or saucer to use as a mixing palette.
